Whither the Book?

Jack Dziamba (Jack Dzamba) is a photographer and president of Icron Image International, Inc., a company devoted to fine are photography. He has won numerous awards for his work. His image, Melissa, won a First Place, for Fashion Photography in the International Pollux Awards for October 2011 and Honorable Mention for the year in the 2011 Pollux Awards. This image is being shown at the International Biennial of Fine Art and Documentary Photography Exhibition, in Buenos Aires,from January 19 – February 27, 2012, http://www.thegalaawards.net.

His work was also chosen as an Official Selection, 2010 Paris Photo Competition. His work has won Honorable Mentions in the 2008 International Photography Association (IPA) Photographer of the Year Awards, the 2008 Prix de la Photographie Paris Human Condition Competition, and the 2007 Prix de la Photographie Paris Competition, http://www.px3.fr.

Jack’s, image, Remembrance, taken at the Louvre in Paris, was chosen in a National Juried Competition in 2003, and in 2010 his image, Not Alone, from his book Paris in Boston (2008) was chosen in a National Juried competition. Both Competitions were judges by the Director of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) Artists Gallery. In 2010, work from Paris in Boston was shown in Le Pecq, France, outside Paris. Six of his images from that show are a permanent installation in the city of Le Pecq.

His work has been exhibited in solo shows in New York City, Boston, and San Francisco, and in group shows in those cities, and in Le Pecq, France.

He lives in the Boston Metropolitan Area and teaches at Boston University. He is represented by the Gallery, SI Chelsea, New York City.
