I find young, small Japanese Maples to be exceedingly attractive plants, especially in spring. Japanese Maples come in great variety. I like these with the fine long leaflets.

I love woods settings like this. We are drawn into it. The tree branches turn every which way and create an inviting geometry of tranquility and mystery.
