This is an image near Los Banos, California, which I snapped roadside today while driving back from San Jose to Los Angeles. The hills in this area are the epitome of rolling, undulating hills, to me, and I think they look like vast carpets of soft green velvet or felt. The drizzly overcast day accented this, and I thought it was a striking scene.
