No wonder the birds and the bees are attracted to flowers like this. I’ve done nothing to alter the color. The rich deep color is amazing. The color shading and gradations are even more amazing.


I am not sure how many tulips and crocuses I bought this year–last year it was daffodils, and we have sufficient now, thanks, but they are parrots, doubles/peoniform, and Rembrandts. Maybe a few singles.
This year’s spring display was astounding, and next year, oh my.
There’s something transcendent about masses of tulips. I’ve always wanted to go to Holland during blooming season.
