This is “Red Number 5.” I’ve renumbered the red series because one post included three images. I did not think these red roses were all that interesting – very common – both in reality and in the raw image. I think this image – like many images, and this is increasingly reflecting my philosophy – only begins to come to life with extensive post-processing. It’s a little like the pixels capture a pattern of light and dark, and then we paint with the pixels. This is a work in progress for me. Joanne
